Ah, the decisions to be made! I have a weeks worth of recipes in front of me, and it probably would have been a difficult decision of what to chose for dinner. But in all actuality, I lost my menu for the week and this was one of the two recipes I could remember that I planned for this week. And it was fabu! It's a recipe from Food and Wine's annual cookbook, the 2008 version. I got it from the library this week and loved the way this recipe sounded! It's Broken lasagna with walnut pesto. Yum! I paired it with arugula since it's one of my favorites and really, it was such a good choice for today. I do wish there was something red, and texturally chewy, so with the leftovers for lunch I think I will add some dried cranberries. Ooooh la la!
